UFC: Kamaru Usman reveals his future plans as a professional Fighter, “This is a next chapter”

Kamaru Usman on his career plans: The Nigerian nightmare is not a regular fighter. His striking dominance and his winning streak have elevated him to the level of the number one pound-to-pound fighter.

The reigning welterweight champion has been at the top of the food chain. Kamaru Usman receives regular call-outs from all other exceptional UFC fighters.

Recently he received his callout from UFC’s notorious former double decision champion Conor McGregor and the now rising welterweight division champion Khamzat Chimaev.

With a stunning record of straight 21 wins, he stands undefeated in UFC. He earned his name The Nigerian Nightmare due to his dominant win and giving nightmares to his opponents.

The Nigerian fighter appeared in a short mic interview with MMA underground and elaborated on his view of UFC and further his career plans.

“This is a next chapter because I don’t wanna get punched in the face forever. At some point, you have to transition into something else. This is, you know, a way for me to still stay in the sport – something I love, something I spent a lot of my life on. So why not be able to talk about it and share my insights and my knowledge about the sport?”

Usman is to wrap his career after retirement to a commentator and fight analyst.

Usman, of course, has been a significant piece of equipment on the broadcast team of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s promotion, Eagle FC. He will appear on Eagle FC 47, which will take place on May 20 as a color commentator.

Alongside, Henry Cejudo and Chael Sonnen. Eagle FC of UFC Hall of Famer and Undefeated UC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has geared up with high tides.

The Nigerian nightmare is to face Leon Edwards in a rematch title fight at UFC 278, the dates aren’t yet officially confirmed by the fight organization.
