Julian Erosa scored a quick first-round TKO victory over Fernando Padilla. At UFC Fight Night 223, Padilla won the match against Julian Erosa in the featherweight category. Padilla emerged victorious with a TKO due to punches at 1 minute and 41 seconds of the first round. This fight was a part of the main card and took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Stephanie Egger secured an unlikely knee bar submission win over Irina Alekseeva in the women’s bantamweight bout. Egger was able to lock on the knee bar from the bottom and get the tap, making it only the fourth time a women’s UFC fight ended that way.

McGhee, who had only fought in seven professional bouts before his UFC debut, managed to hurt Newson with a left hand in the second round of their fight. Newson, who had fought in 14 professional bouts, was dropped by the punch, and McGhee quickly took his back and applied a rear-naked choke to win the fight.
