Jubli is not the first Indian to compete in the promotion, but he is the first to win a fight there. After Maharashtra’s Bharat Kandare, who lost his sole match in the UFC to South Korea’s Song Yadong by submission, he is the second Indian to sign a contract and compete in the UFC.

Jubli, who has won seven out of seven fights in the professional MMA circuit, will be in excellent shape for this weekend’s contest.
