Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov is the biggest rivalry in UFC history. Despite Nurmagomedov’s retirement, McGregor hasn’t let go of his grudge against the former UFC Lightweight Champion and his Dagestani team. Fans have noticed McGregor multiple times taking a shot at Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team up to this date. Recently, Conor McGregor took a shot at Umar Nurmagomedov in a now-deleted tweet.
Recently, reports surfaced on the internet of Umar Nurmagomedov pulling out of UFC Fight Night scheduled on August 5. Umar was scheduled to face Cory Sandhagen in a main-event bantamweight bout. Unfortunately, he has decided to pull out due to an undisclosed injury. Currently, the UFC is actively searching for a replacement for the bantamweight fighter until UFC Fight Night.
Responding to a report, Conor McGregor tweeted, “Runs in the family.”

This is not the first time McGregor has targetted the Dagestani team. In many instances, the 35-year-old continued to fire shots at Khabib Nurmagomedov. Conversely, Khabib has also responded to some of his replies.
This little stunt from the Notorious has led to outrage among the fans. Many fans reacted to McGregor’s indecorous behavior and called him delusional.
Conor McGregor is still unclear about UFC return
While fans await Conor McGregor’s return, the former UFC champion has let go of many opportunities to get back to the UFC octagon. After failing to register for the USADA pool, many fans doubted his highly anticipated bout with Michael Chandler. This bout is still rumored to take place till the end of the year, but fans have left hope to watch the fight in 2023.
Many believe Dana White would allow Conor to compete without getting tested after White’s comment on not caring about USADA’s opinion. As of now, McGregor has not begun his official fight camp for UFC return. He is seen at parties and vacations with his family and friends, which doubts his seriousness toward the UFC return.
