The stage is set for UFC 290 and the Nevada Athletic Commission has finalized the judges and referees for the highly anticipated championship bouts. Taking place at the T-Mobile Arena on July 8th, this event promises to deliver thrilling action as two world title fights take centre stage.
Sal D’Amato will be one of the judges judging the bout. In D’Amato’s judging career, there was a recent event that made headlines during the fight between Kai Kara-France and Amir Albazi at UFC Vegas 74. Kara-France outperformed Kara-France in terms of important strikes, but D’Amato’s scoring favoured Albazi, giving the Iraqi fighter a split-decision victory.

Jason Herzog will be the third opponent in the octagon for Moreno and Pantoja’s bout in the co-main event. Derek Cleary, Junichiro Kamijo, and Ben Cartlidge will serve as the judges for that contest.
The latest International Fight Week will be concluded by UFC 290, which is always a major event for the company.
Volkanovski will be competing at 145 pounds after failing in his last match against Islam Makhachev to capture the lightweight championship. Regarding Rodriguez, he defeated Josh Emmett in February to capture the interim UFC featherweight championship.
While this is going on, Moreno will be looking to exact revenge on Pantoja for previous defeats after competing against him on The Ultimate Fighter and in a UFC match in 2018. After putting together an incredible three-fight winning streak that included a victory over Manel Kape, Brandon Royval, and Alex Perez, Pantoja will try to capture the UFC championship for the first time.
On July 8, the event will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
