Though Jones doesn’t agree much with the speculations made, in his recent tweet Jones compares the fighting tactics of Gane with one of the past fights he had with Thiago Santos. He says that the fight with Thiago Santos would be an example for him of having faced a superior striker.

Does Jon Jones feel like Gane will be an easy opponent for him during the UFC 285 match? We cannot say that for sure, but according to his tweets we are aware that Jones has been studying the fighting techniques of his to-be opponent. In one of his tweets also mentioned that “Game last three opponents had a terrible defence. Those guys couldn’t stop a kick if their life depended on it. He’s fought flat-footed boxers his last three fights”. Clearly stating his supremacy over Gane’s other opponents he had in the past.
