While discussing Rodriguez’s KO victory, Chan Sung Jung is the first name that comes to mind. On November 11, 2018, Rodriguez stopped Jung, nicknamed “The Korean Zombie,” with a vicious elbow to the chin with 0.1 seconds left in the fight in Denver, earning one of the greatest knockouts in UFC history.

This caused stunned looks from spectators both inside the Pepsi Center and at home as the last move appeared to come completely out of nowhere. Before the KO shot, both of them shook hands as they engaged in a passionate duel until he delivered the fatal strike.

BJ Penn

A year prior, at UFC Fight Night 103, which was the week’s Knockout, Rodriguez showed his talent against the legendary fighter BJ Penn. The former lightweight and welterweight champion was destroyed by Rodriguez’s agility and toughness in a little more than one round of battle.

Rodriguez, who dominated the first round, launched an attack on Penn as soon as the second round began, and the referee stepped in after Rodriguez continued to batter Penn for more than 25 seconds.

Not to forget his victory over Ortega in their most recent encounter. Sadly for Ortega, the bout was stopped by a shoulder injury at the end of Round 1 in 2022, July 16, earning Rodriguez a TKO victory.

This will be the first time Rodriguez will compete since his KO/TKO victory over Brian Ortega at UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs. Rodriguez in July. And it will be interesting to watch whether he can defeat Emmett in this fight, and it will be much more momentous if he wins by knockout.
