Dawson (20-1-1) has not lost a fight since joining the UFC. The lone blemish in “KGD”‘s record is a majority tie in 2021 versus Ricky Glenn. He recently defeated Jared Gordon, Mark O. Madsen, and Damir Ismagulov three times in a row. Dawson weighed 156 pounds when he stood on the scale.
Green (30-14-1, 1 NC) is competing in his second UFC main event and is fresh off a victory over Tony Ferguson. Prior to the victory, “King” had been having a difficult time, losing by knockout to Islam Makhachev and Drew Dober, and fighting Jared Gordon to a no-contest after the fight was stopped by an unintentional headbutt. The 37-year-old, who weighed exactly 156 pounds, will try to demonstrate that he still has some petrol in the tank.
