In his second match against Deontay Wilder, Fury showed the first indications of his new strategy. After the previous fight’s verdict did not go in his favor, “The Gypsy King” declared he would knock out Wilder. To the astonishment of many boxing fans, Fury abandoned his previous strategy and began walking Wilder down as soon as the bell rang.
Fury was able to overwhelm the American and knock him out as a result. Before knocking out Dillian Whyte earlier this year, Fury similarly defeated Wilder in the rematch.
