TUF 31: UFC News: Later this year, Conor McGregor will finally make his eagerly anticipated UFC comeback, facing Michael Chandler, a well-known American fighter.  Follow UFC News Updates with InsideSport.IN.

Since breaking his tibia and fibula during his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, The Notorious has been unable to perform.

In 2023, when McGregor will celebrate ten years as a UFC fighter, it has been 18 months since fans last witnessed the Irishman in action, and it has been more than three years since his last victory.

Following the nearly two-year break he took for a crossover boxing contest against Floyd Mayweather, McGregor’s prolonged departure from the sport is now his second-longest streak without an MMA match.

In order to match McGregor’s new body, three-time Bellator 155-pound champion Chandler bulked up for the fight. The former lightweight champion will now be welcomed back at welterweight.

Notorious’ comeback to the UFC hasn’t been officially announced as of yet, but September 2023 would be the earliest possible date.

Beginning in May, the MMA reality TV series The Ultimate Fighter, on which both athletes serve as coaches, will air season TUF 31.

McGregor and Chandler’s preparations would take place in the summer because they would be removed from camp to film the show.

Another reason for the delay could be that McGregor significantly bulked up while recovering from his injury, but United States Anti-Doping has not conducted a drug test on him.

Although specifics have not been finalised, the action is anticipated to occur at BT Box Office in the UK.

The BT Player, BT Sport’s website, or app can be used to make a purchase once the price is known. Mobile users can then live stream events via the BT Sport Box Office app for iOS and Android.

Coverage would probably start around one in the morning on Sunday of fight weekend, just before the main event at approximately five in the morning, should McGregor return to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
