Sergio Ramos has been in the news for being close to UFC star Conor McGregor in the past. The two exchanged friendly gestures on social media. Ramos once duplicated Conor McGregor’s iconic billionaire walk in one of his training sessions. The UFC star showered his love on that, after which Sergio Ramos invited Conor McGregor to train with him.

Conor McGregor also offered UFC 246 tickets to Sergio Ramos. After losing against Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor made his return against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246. The Irishman knocked out Cerrone and established KO-wins across three weight classes (145 lbs, 155 lbs, 170 lbs)

Nevertheless, Sergio Ramos couldn’t make it to the venue for his transfer from Real Madrid to PSG. Speaking about it, Conor McGregor said, “He [Sergio Ramos] messaged me today saying he’s signing for a new club [PSG] and he’s not going to be able to make it. He thought he had more time. He [Sergio Ramos] had the tickets.”

Can Sergio Ramos be present at the next Conor McGregor fight?

Ramos is currently signed with PSG to compete in Ligue 1. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor has lost two fights in a row since his win over Donald Cerrone. He lost both times to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and UFC 264, respectively.

After getting KO-ed at UFC 257, McGregor snapped his ankle in the trilogy against Poirier and suffered a doctor stoppage defeat. It is unsure when he will return. Despite teasing his UFC comeback several times, Conor McGregor hasn’t announced anything officially. So, it remains a mystery whether Sergio Ramos will be able to make it to the next McGregor event or not.
