UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland and former UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko are engaged in a social media feud. Strickland, known for being outspoken, recently used X (formerly Twitter) to discuss Paige VanZant’s Social media account. VanZant, an MMA fighter, reportedly earned more from her OnlyFans than her entire fighting career. Strickland controversially asserted that this financial gap is attributed to a perceived difference in quality between women’s and men’s MMA. Valentina Shevchenko disagreed with Strickland, sparking a feud on social media.
Sean Strickland Responds to Valentina Shevchenko
Valentina reacted to Strickland‘s outspoken nature by suggesting that his comments stem from jealousy toward women earning more, on X she said:
“Interesting unpack here. That looks more like an offended kid, who got less money in his entire fighter career than female fighters do! Good try, maybe UFC will see that and add some cash to your purse next time. But for now nak*d is you are”
Replying, Strickland criticized Valentina’s striking, pointing out her loss to a fighter who pulls guard and suggesting her technique appears as if she learned it from a YouTube video. It’s worth noting that Valentina has an impressive record with seven consecutive title defenses since winning the UFC flyweight title.
As of now, Valentina has not responded to Sean’s recent comment about her. The feud began when Strickland criticized VanZant on social media, and Valentina responded to him. It’s crucial to highlight that both fighters have demonstrated their dominance in the octagon.
