Indian MMA sensation Anshul Jubli will make his PPV debut this weekend. The 28-year-old fighter will compete on the same card as some of the best fighters in the world. He will face Mike Breeden in the lightweight division, on the fourth fight of the prelims. So here’s what you need to know about Jubli’s opponent.

UFC 294 will take place this Saturday, Oct 21 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. The event will feature some exciting clashes culminating with a fantastic main event between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovksi. However, many fans in India will have their eye on their only representative in the UFC.

Here’s what you should know about Anshul Jubli’s next opponent, Mike Breeden

Jubli and Breeden enter the fight in the contrasting stages of their careers. While the Indian is just getting started, Breeden is 34 years old and could be fighting to retain his UFC career. However, the American has more experience than his Indian opponent.

Breeden will compete at UFC 294 with a 10-6 record. Moreover, eight of these ten wins have been knockouts. Therefore, the American has an 80% knockout rate which is something Jubli has to be vary about. With his knockout ability, it will not be an easy fight.

If we look at his fight stats, Mike Breeden lands 5.2 significant strikes per minute at 43% accuracy. While his accuracy could be better, he definitely throws a lot of volume. In terms of the grappling, Breeden could do better. However, he gets more than a takedown per fifteen minutes at 33% accuracy. These are decent numbers.

In terms of his physical attributes, Breeden stands at 5’10”, and has a 70” punching reach and a 39.5” leg reach. In terms of recent form, Mike Breeden has lost his last three fights. Moreover, two of these three were knockout losses.
