UFC 292 Purse and Payouts: Who will earn the most?

Estimating fighters’ pay is very difficult since they do not reveal any information. Moreover, when it comes to a PPV card like this, it is impossible to accurately predict their earnings, as some of it depends on the PPV share. Despite this, we can arrive at a close enough figure by looking at several reports.

Garrett Kerman from The Sports Daily reported on the UFC 292 earnings. Unsurprisingly, Aljamain Sterling is the highest earner on the card. He will take home $542,000 before including the PPV share. His opponent, Sean O’Malley, will earn $382,000 before the PPV share.

The co-main event star, Zhang Weili, will earn $292,000 for her fight, while her opponent Amanda Lemos will take home $182,000. Other main card earnings include Neil Magny’s $142,000, Ian Garry’s $56,000, Marlon Vera’s $106,000, and Pedro Munhoz’s $91,000. All these fighters could also add $50,000 to their earnings on fight night if they get a performance bonus.

Moreover, despite being on the prelim card, former world champion Chris Weidman will be one of the highest earners on the card with $360,000 for his comeback fight.
