MMA Twitter Reacts to Dana White Announcing Special UFC Belt: UFC News: Mexican UFC champions will receive specially made UFC belts, according to UFC President Dana White. On July 3, White revealed his ambitions while talking about his sizable sneaker collection in an interview with Complex. Follow UFC News Updates with InsideSports.IN.

White emphasised a specific pair of sneakers—a customised Jordan 1—during the conversation. The shoe was created by an unidentified Mexican artist. His concept of personalised belts was inspired by this pair of sneakers. White boasted that he presently had three world champions from Mexico: Yair Rodriguez, the interim featherweight champion, Brandon Moreno, the flyweight champion, and Alexa Grasso, the women’s flyweight champion.

The designer of the sneakers came up with the novel idea of painting the Mexican flag and other imaginative patterns on the UFC belts. White eagerly declared, “I’m actually going to do it,” expressing his excitement about moving forward with the project. Thus, each boxer in this battle would wear a unique handcrafted Mexican championship belt.

Fans seem to have been finding the project, unnecessary as they tweet on Twitter responding to Jed I. Goodman with “Why tho”

The interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez seems to have already accepted the concept of a personalised belt. Rodriguez recently shared a video on Instagram on July 3 in which he displayed his customised, aesthetically altered UFC interim championship.

Rodriguez’s handmade belt was created by Jacobo & Mara Ngeles, who are recognised for their skill in carving Zapotec creatures out of wood. From San Martin Tilcajete, Mexico, they conduct business.

White’s work with the great Mexican artist for the UFC belts is an exciting step, despite the fact that he withheld the identity of the creator of the artist behind his special sneakers. These specially created belts will not only commemorate the victories of Mexican champions but also act as distinctive reminders of their successes within the UFC.
