Diaz recently spoke to Ariel Helwani for ESPN MMA. The two spoke about a wide variety of topics and gave fans a never-before-seen side of Diaz. The former UFC fighter opened up about his career, how he was better than the current crop of fighters, and many other aspects.
Toward the end, Helwani referenced a point Diaz made about bullying and asked Diaz if he ever experienced bullying. The American fighter responded with, “No, hell nah.” He then added, “Nah, I had a big brother, man. Ain’t nobody mess with me. I had a hella homeboys that were ready to ride. Nah, I was always good.”
These comments are a testament to the brotherhood between the two. And this is nothing new for MMA fans. Nick Diaz has always looked out for his younger brother. He has been in Nate Diaz’s corner since the beginning and helped him become the fighter he became.
On the other hand, Nate Diaz always stuck by his brother, and the two trained relentlessly, pushing each other to the limit. And therefore, it is no surprise to find out that Nick Diaz looked after his younger brother during their troubled upbringing.
