Dana White and Triple H Unite at Callum Walsh’s Ringside Showdown
Dana White and Triple H enjoy Callum Walsh’s victory
Walsh’s victory would’ve been even sweeter for the Irishman given the ringside guest list. White is Walsh’s promoter and is the big prospect under the UFC CEO. It is the first step from White to get back into the boxing promoter world after building a successful UFC business.
Moreover, UFC’s parent company recently bought the WWE and therefore, it is no surprise to see the likes of Triple H join White at such events. And WWE president Nick Khan also joined the two ringside for the fight.
Walsh is reaping the benefits of signing with Dana White. UFC Fight Pass broadcasted his fight last night, and he has some of the biggest names in the sport behind him. Walsh trains with Freddy Roach and also has Tom Loeffler as his co-promoter. White rates Walsh so highly that he even missed the UFC 295 press conference last night to attend the fight.
White has criticized boxing for years. The former UFC president and now CEO has often lashed out at promoters in the sport and called boxing a dying sport. However, it now appears that White wants a piece of the boxing world.
And if the UFC CEO can acquire more big names to go along with prospects like Callum Walsh, he could be one of the sport’s biggest promoters in no time. Only time will tell how far Dana White takes his boxing endeavors.
