Conor McGregor makes anti-LGBT comment against Gilbert Burns

The Irishman is an eccentric personality and never shies away from expressing his thoughts. While these are sometimes hilarious, they are also sometimes controversial. And we have another example of McGregor saying the most controversial things.

Recently, Burns posted a video of his teammate Kamaru Usman training and hinted that he would feature on the UFC 294 card. Eventually, it happened. And McGregor reposted that video and said, “Gilbert, “the fat lesbian” durino.”

McGregor eventually deleted the post but insidefighting on Instagram were quick to catch onto it and posted it on their page. However, this was a comment at Burns’ unusual appearance as he has grown his hair and is not in camp, therefore has put on a few pounds. And while many fans saw the funny side of it, Burns did not hold back.

Burns took to social media platform X to reply to that post. He wrote, “I know you never would fight me and it’s all good, but you keep running your mouth pull up to a sparring then.” Thus, clearly showing that he is not afraid to fight the Irishman. However, it is unlikely that the two will meet in the octagon. McGregor will most likely face Michael Chandler in his comeback fight and Burns is unlikely to move down to lightweight.

What do you make of this verbal battle between Conor McGregor and Gilbert Burns? Do you think Conor McGregor needs to be careful about the way he says things? Can you see them facing each other in the future?
