It has been rumoured for a while that “Borz” and “The Eraser” will square off, and this is the match the fanbase desired. The two Middleweights’ animosity for one another has been well-documented; following a physical altercation at UFC Apex last year, they have been harassing one another online ever since.
Chimaev, who has been absent from the scene for the majority of the year, was a special guest combatant at UFC on Saturday night, July 22, 2023, and sat in the first row.
Khamzat Chimaev, a Swedish fighter, officially disclosed his intention to “cry” Brazilian Paulo Costa during their upcoming UFC 294 encounter. In October, after more than a year since his last fight, the unbeaten Chimaev will make his much-awaited Octagon comeback against Costa at 185 pounds. “I’m going to go and smash this guy and make him cry,” he declared.
