The UFC fighter is an American mixed martial artist, who has been competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship in the Middleweight division.
Kelvin has been competing in the UFC since he won the 17th season of The Ultimate Fighter. Today he is ranked eleventh in the UFC middleweight championship.

Gastelum fought his last match on 9th April 2023 in UFC 287 in the Middleweight division against Chris Curtis. He won the bout via unanimous decision. To date, Kelvin has 18 wins and eight losses.
Prior to UFC 287, Gastelum had dropped two consecutive bouts in the Octagon, both by majority decision against Robert Whittaker (24-6 MMA) and Jared Cannonier (16-6 MMA).
Recently ‘Triple C shared that if Kelvin Gatelum makes a return to the welterweight division, he could achieve champion status.
Gastelum did indeed compete at welterweight in the past. In 2016, at UFC 200, Gastelum won a unanimous decision over Johny Hendricks, who entered the bout with an 18-8 MMA record.
After that win and a couple of missing weights, the fighter finally made it to the middleweight division.

To which the only fan superstar commented skiing him to print it on his T-shirt.

Kelvin writes “ Please stop saying, Kevin!!! That’s not my name!!! It’s KELLLLLLLLLVIN. There is a clear “L” in the middle of the two syllables.”
Gastelum liked the idea and said that he would work on that design.
