The Irish superstar, however, has taken the exact opposite action and agreed to terms to compete against undisputed super lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron. Taylor, 36, recently defeated Karen Elizabeth Carbajal by unanimous decision. The idea was to then run things back against Serrano, who Taylor defeated in April of last year in a fight that eventually won The Sporting News Fight of the Year award.

UFC Star Conor McGregor Drops Massive News About the Upcoming Boxing Fight

Conor McGregor has posted on his Instagram account, showing his support for Katie. As he says.

“I’ve always been in @katie_t86’s corner, so I am proud to support the homecoming of the champ as she prepares for her long-awaited fight in Ireland this weekend. @eddiehearn and @matchroomboxing have done a fantastic job putting together an unforgettable event and @forgedirishstout is ready to take over fight week! Tickets will go on sale the following week for Katie Taylor’s historic homecoming match against undisputed Super-Lightweight World Champion Chantelle Cameron at 3Arena on Saturday, May 20, which will be broadcast live across the world on DAZN. 

As she attempts to make even more history and further establish herself as the best female fighter on the planet when she faces England’s Cameron, Irish legend Taylor (22-0, 6 KOs) competes in Ireland for the first time in her professional career.

Conor Mc Gregor also posts on his Instagram story, that the whole week he will be making posts in favour of Katie Taylor, one after another. But before he starts with what he has already announced. He says that he has 22 tickets for the fight,  in the exclusive G Cash seat. He will only be requiring one. So in case anyone is interested to view the Katie Taylor homecoming bout with Conor in the G cash seats, they can contact him personally.
