Israel Adesanya revealed the picture of a letter that he received from Team Muhammad Ali. The letter showed Muhamad Ali’s words after losing against Joe Frazier. Lying on his bed with a broken jaw, ‘The Greatest’ had said, “It’s a good feeling to lose. The people who are following you, are going to lose too. You got to set an example of how you lose. This way they can see how I lose. It will be a old news a week from now. Plane crashes, a president assassinated, a civic rights leader assassinated, people forget in two weeks. Old news.”

Israel Adesanya was winning on the judges’ scorecard and was able to hurt Alex Pereira. The first round of the UFC 281 main-event ended with ‘Izzy’ leaving Pereira with wobbly legs. However, Alex Pereira unloaded his best side in round five and knocked the UFC title out of Adesanya.

Israel Adesanya, however, wants to rematch Alex Pereira and believes he can turn the tables. He has been medically suspended by the UFC after his recent defeat. However, ‘Izzy’ can return in mid-2023 and go straight after ‘Poatan’.
