Israel Adesanya, known as “The Last Stylebender,” may not have won the middleweight championship battle at UFC 293 against Sean Strickland, but that didn’t stop him from taking advantage of the nightlife in Australia.
The Last Stylebender failed to defeat his vocal opponent, Sean Strickland and dropped the 185-pound championship for the second time in less than a year. Adesanya was prepared to go past the terrible outcome and have a nice night despite it.

Israel Adesanya Mocked For Partying
At Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday, underdog Sean Strickland defeated heavy favourite Israel Adesanya, winning by unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards following a thrilling five-round contest.
After 25 minutes of stalking his opponent, superb defence, and use of his boxing to make Adesanya fight off his back foot, American Strickland, confident of victory, taunted Adesanya in the last seconds of the final round.
Israel Adesanya skipped the UFC 293 post-fight press conference because he was so eager to forget about his defeat on Saturday night. He spoke to the media for a short while before informing everyone that City Kickboxing coach Eugene Baremen would be responding to inquiries on his behalf.
Adesanya was shown partying after the altercation and was captured on camera dancing to the well-known song “Shy Guy” by Diana King. His caption, “Me…a whole Shy Guy!!,” added a humorous twist to the image.
As the tweet went viral, Adesanya’s fans mocked him with comments like “ I hope you never get your belt back, You’re such a boring fighter”
While someone else commented, “I love this kinda soft life.”
Adesanya managed to get it to the break, but he never really got going again after Strickland set the stage for victory with a massive right hand at the close of the first round, nearly earning a knockout.
