However, the decision did not sit well with many people, including the UFC champions. Israel Adesanya, who holds the middleweight title, expressed his displeasure with the decision in a blunt manner, saying, “Nah bro F*** Yours.”

Daniel Cormier, former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion, tweeted that he scored the fight 3-2 in favor of Kara-France.

Max Holloway, former featherweight champion, simply tweeted, “Judges man,”

while Belal Muhammad and Sergio Pettis also voiced their disagreement with the decision.

The split decision win for Albazi was a result of the judges’ scorecards, which read 48-47, 48-47 in favor of Albazi and 48-47 in favor of Kara-France.

Despite the statistics favoring Kara-France, the judges ultimately awarded the victory to Albazi, a decision that has sparked controversy among fans and fighters alike. Many believe that Kara-France did enough to win the fight, and the judges’ decision was unfair.
