Can Islam Keep Up With The Fights Irrespective Of Ramadan Fast

Islam Makhachev is preparing for a highly anticipated 2024, with three UFC bouts planned, one of which will take place before Ramadan. The lightweight champion of the UFC is excited to defend his championship against competitors like Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira. After a spell of inaction, Makhachev takes the initiative, stating that he is eager to go back into the octagon. Fans will be waiting impatiently for his next fights because of his tenacity and dedication to a rigorous fight schedule.

Before Ramadan, which falls between March 10 and April 9, 2024, when pious Muslims observe fasting until sundown and frequently skip training, there were first concerns regarding Makhachev’s availability. Nonetheless, Islam Makhachev recently disclosed his audacious ambitions for a busy next year on a Russian news program.

“Well, I’m planning to fight before Ramadan,” Makhachev said. “I already informed the UFC that I’m ready to fight before Ramadan, I would like to have time to do three fights in 2024. I will train as much as possible, constantly keep in shape, and wait for a call from the management.”
