Marvin Vettori All Losses In The UFC?

Marvin Vettori has lost a total of 6 times in his entire UFC career

First Loss: He incurred his first loss during a debut fight against Alessandro Grandis on 21st July in the year 2021 via a Unanimous decision in the 2nd round of New Generation Tournament 6 in Italy.

Second Loss: Marvin Vettori vs Bill Beaumont: Vettori before meeting Bill Beaumont had maintained a winning streak of 5 wins before he got into a title shot at the vacant UCMMA Welterweight Championship. Unfortunately, Vettori lost the fight via a unanimous decision during the third round.

Third Loss: Marvin Vettori vs Antonio Carlos Jr.: Vettori had threatened Antonio that he would end the bout in the second round. The middleweight match was on the preliminary schedule for the UFC 207 event that took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It was broadcast on FS1 after a second preliminary bout on UFC Fight Pass and before the main event on pay-per-view.

Junior appeared to be in trouble when Vettori forced him to the mat in the second frame and locked up an arm-in guillotine from the top position. Junior ultimately freed himself from the choke by giving the referee a thumbs up, only to come under fire from a barrage of left hands from Vettori before the horn sounded to conclude the round.

However, Junior would come back in the final period, slowing down the action with his takedowns and clinch game, wearing down Vettori and stifling his offence as the clock ran out. When the judges were presented with the evidence, they were unified in their support of Junior, awarding him the victory.

Fourth Loss:  Marvin Vettori vs Israel Adesanya: On April 15, 2018, at UFC 263 in Glendale, Arizona’s Gila River Arena, middleweight champion Israel Adesanya defeated title challenger Marvin Vettori by unanimous decision.

On the scorecards of the three judges, Adesanya prevailed 50–45.

According to UFC Stats, Adesanya outlined Vettori’s 58 to 96 major strikes, leaving little doubt as to who was the better fighter. In Round 3, Vettori managed to take down four opponents, including this one.
