O’Malley believes that the UFC could gain from signing Danis now that he’s a free agent. O’Malley shared his thoughts on why the UFC should bring him on during an interview on The MMA Hour. “I wanna see it,” “Give him one fight, give him whoever you wanna give him. He loses – that guy, whoever beats him, you’ve got a name…I’d like to see him in the UFC. Give him someone on a Pay-Per-View.”
During the UFC 295 press conference, when asked about his training with Danis, Alex Pereira praised Danis, calling him a talented. He said “He’s a very talented kid. We had two sessions. He’s a great guy.” Pereira mentioned having two productive sessions with Danis and described him as a great person. Pereira is supportive of Dillon Danis joining the UFC.
