EXCLUSIVE: What Does Andre Fialho Think About Francis Ngannou Joining PFL?
For those who may be unaware, the former UFC heavyweight champion, has recently entered into a groundbreaking agreement with PFL that includes both equity and a leadership position. Under this deal, Ngannou will hold the title of chairman for the newly formed PFL Africa division. While this is indeed a deal that has caught the eyes of millions but Fialho has something else in his mind.
Talking to Raj Sarkar from InsideSport ahead of his fight at UFC Vegas 73, Fialho stated , “I think it’s good for him (Ngannou). When you believe in something you gotta put all your energy into it and you gotta work towards it. He left because he believed in something and he worked towards that goal he achieved. It’s good for him.”
He added, “But I still believe there is no comparison between PFL and UFC. I think the UFC is on a different level and a different league. But I’m happy for him and wish him the best although I think it will take a while for PFL to get to UFC’s level. “
