UFC Fighter Kevin Lee, in an interview with InsideSport, shared his excitement for the Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler fight. He predicted a win for Chandler and acknowledged McGregor’s skill in playing mind games.
He said, “Yeah, there are doubts, but I think it’ll happen. Michael Chandler is a is a teammate of mine. Um, so obviously, I’m rooting for him. I think he’s gonna win the fight if it happens. But with Conor McGregor, you never really know. I think it’s a lot of head games being played. I think he wants to play mind games and tell him he’s not fighting, so that he doesn’t prepare. But with us in our team, we were smart enough to know these mind games. And I think Chandler is going to prepare like he’s getting ready to fight even without a contract sign.”
Conor McGregor faced his fifth consecutive loss in TUF 31, disappointing fans. Brad Katona, Chandler’s No. 2 fighter, defeated McGregor’s fighter Carlos Vera via unanimous decision after two rounds.
