The UFC president also mentioned about his experiences in Europe. While Mike Tyson has just returned from a European trip, the two discussed their specific perceptions of the place.
Referring to sports, Mike Tyson detailed how European fans have been steadily impressed by him.
The former heavyweight champion said, “If they know I am coming. Say like England. England, where I can’t really go now. But if I am in England right. They will call their cousins from Africa and later they will come and they will come and prepare for Portugal. Whatever everybody be there.”
“They (Britishers) look at the sports figures totally different from people over here (USA).”
US citizen Dana White agreed with what Mike Tyson said about Europe. However, he didn’t belittle American’s love for sports in comparison to the Europeans.
As for the craze surrounding Mike Tyson, Dana White cited its complete credit to the boxing legend himself.
He said, “But it’s big here too. I mean listen, when you [Mike Tyson] walk, I say this all the time, I have been friends with you for fu*** over 20 years and I still.”
“You [Mike Tyson] are an iconic human being you know, Forget about sports, just in pop culture period. You are an iconic fu**** human being. When you walk into a room, people fuc*** sh** their pants.”
