For those who are unaware, The Power Slap League is the UFC president’s project, where competitors slap each other in the face with an open hand. Due to its bizarre nature, the event had already generated attention and was scheduled to air on January 11. However, it was removed from the TBS website and is no longer on the TBS schedule.

According to a TBS representative, the league is scheduled to begin on January 18. Well, following the New Year’s Eve slap incident, White was in big controversy, and even the veteran Ariel Helwani recently chastised the league.

Speaking about the league, Helwani said that it is a “Shame” that TBS is broadcasting this in light of the recent events, and the fact that the network delayed its show seems to be in reaction to the outrage among viewers. Since the project is now delayed, it will be interesting to see whether it really gets released sooner or later knowing that the future seems to be in danger.
