Former Bellator MMA competitor Dillon Danis has become a free agent following his contract release. Despite having participated in just two professional MMA fights, the latest in 2019, Danis is optimistic about a profitable collaboration with UFC President Dana White. He recently contacted White on Twitter to convey his confidence in their potential partnership.
“We about to make a lot of money, Dana White,”
During a press conference, Dana White was asked about the possibility of working with Dillon Danis and his future plans regarding Danis. In response, White stated, “I don’t know. I actually haven’t even thought about that.”
Rather than Dillon Danis, the UFC’s head honcho Dana White is more inclined to be interested in another Bellator free agent, Michael ‘Venom’ Page.
Recently, there have been rumors about Michael ‘Venom‘ Page, a free agent after a long stint with Bellator, potentially joining the UFC. Speculation arose after a meeting between Page and UFC officials in Abu Dhabi before UFC 294.
When asked about a possible deal during the UFC 294 post-fight press conference, the UFC CEO expressed interest, stating, “Listen, he’s a kid that we’re definitely interested in and he’s interested, too, so, possibly.”
Currently, there is no official confirmation about the deals for both fighters. It remains unclear who will join the UFC first, as both fighters have expressed interest in joining the organization.
