Dana White: UFC News: The UFC President’s involvement in yet another dispute was undoubtedly a shocking start for the fans. Due to the public altercation on New Year’s Eve in a Cabo San Lucas nightclub, Dana White and his wife are the topics of conversation in the UFC community. Dana White released official comments regarding his controversial slap to his wife

Many celebrities would actually hide from the public to discuss this after an incident like this. However, White’s decision to come up and express regret for what had happened shows that he is a totally different person. Speaking to TMZ, White told how embarrassed he really is.

In his words, “My wife and I were out on Saturday night on New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately, that’s what happened. I’m one of the guys, you’ve heard me say for years, there’s never, ever an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman, and now here I am on TMZ talking about it.”

He added, “My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years, we’ve known each other since we were 12 years old. We’ve obviously been through some s*** together, we’ve got three kids and this is one of those situations that’s horrible, I’m embarrassed.”

Furthermore, continuing the same topic, he also said his children and family come first for him, rather than other people’s opinions. So he is concerned about them.

He stated, “We’re more concerned about our kids. We have three kids and obviously since the video popped up, we’ve shown the kids the video. We’re more focused on our family right now. People are going to have opinions on this, and most of the people’s opinions would be right, especially in my case. You don’t put your hands on a woman ever.”

Are things now okay between White and his wife?

Alcohol’s intoxicating effects simply served to intensify the unpleasant experience. So for a while, this will undoubtedly be a matter of discussion and media focus.

There is however no such problem between them; it was only caused by overindulging. In the same interview with TMZ, he also said that he and his wife are still on vacation and that they have both apologized to one another.
