The Tesla CEO recently said on Twitter that a potential fight with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be managed by their respective foundations, without the need for involvement from the biggest MMA promoter in the world:
The tweet read, “ The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.”
The tweets were sent out just one day after the UFC president claimed to have spoken with Italian government representatives regarding the fight, which he estimated would bring in $1 billion in revenue.
