Dana White Expressed He Was Emotionless After His Parents’ Passing
Losing a family member is undeniably tough, and the grieving process often takes many months. However, White had a different experience—he expressed feeling almost nothing about the loss. He shared openly about his difficult upbringing and distant relationship with both his parents. Check out the below video and see what White has stated about the loss of the parents.
Talking about his strained relationship with his parents, he expressed that they were strong reminders of what kind of parent he didn’t want to be. Despite not wanting to go into specifics, he did open up about the recent loss of both his parents. He stated, “I don’t think I’ve ever talked about this, but my parents both died recently.”
White said when asked how he felt about their passing, “I don’t know. I’m good with it. I focus a lot of my kids and my relationship with them, and I’ve sort of put my relationship with my parents behind me.” After which he was asked if he felt any sorrow or remorse, “No (I didn’t feel sad when they died). Well, I didn’t wish ill will on either one of my parents, but no I didn’t. When they passed away, I had almost no feelings about it to be honest.”
While details about White’s father remain scarce, considerable focus has been on his difficult relationship with his mother, June White.
