Olivi asked McGregor “if there was any difference coaching against Chandler compared to his previous coaching stint against Urijah Faber”.

McGregor responded, “No, I’m having a bit of fun to be honest with you. I don’t mind Michael at all. I don’t mind the team, the lads. You know, there was a bit of hostility at one stage, but for the most part, it’s been a lot of good fun.”

The venue for TUF 31 is in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will feature 16 fighters split between Team McGregor and Team Chandler.

Each team will have eight fighters, and they will face off against each other in a tournament-style competition. McGregor and Chandler will coach their respective teams, and the winner will earn a UFC contract.

The teams will face off throughout the course of the season before the two remaining competitors clash in the finale. TUF 31 is set to premiere on Tuesday, May 30, at 10pm ET / 7pm PT in the United States on ESPN and ESPN+. New episodes will continue each Tuesday.

For McGregor, coaching on TUF 31 is a chance to get back into the game and sharpen his own skills. He mentioned in the interview with Olivi that coaching allows him to learn from the fighters he is coaching and improve his own game.

Overall, TUF 31 promises to be an exciting season with two top fighters coaching against each other. The dynamic between McGregor and Chandler will be interesting to watch.  Follow InsideSport on GOOGLE NEWS /  For UFC News updates with InsideSport.IN
