The eagles soars high with an undefeated record in his career with 29 wins and no loss and serves as the longest-reigning UFC lightweight champion on the planet. Revered as the greatest grappler of all time, he drags and submerges his opponents deep into his clutches, with no other option but to tap out, or else with a choice to be crushed till death.

However, Khabib Nurmagomedov, who choose to retire from UFC following his father’s death, vacated his title after a dominant win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

UFC had inducted him into its Hall of fame list, making him one amongst the elites of the fighting universe.

The event has received the wrath of UFC’s trash talk Kingpin and Khabib’s notable rival Conor McGregor.

UFC 229, witnessed UFC’s superstar and historic double division champion Conor McGregor tasting a devastating defeat to The Eagle. The main event was a historic event in UFC with past beefs making their way to settle inside the octagon.

The Eagle destroyed Conor’s legacy, dominating him back to back. The fight was a revenge battle between the two elites. Khabib landed a 15 of 37 significant strikes and 17 of 39 total strikes while Conor landed 34 of 53 significant strikes and 44 of 62 total strikes.

Conor’s jaw was crushed to at last with no option left to tap out rather than leaving the Octagon with a displaced jaw.

 

The event drew 20,034 people to the T-Mobile Arena, producing $17.2 million in live gate receipts. It was the highest-ever mixed martial arts attendance and live gate in Nevada. With 2.4 million buys in the United States, it also established the record for the largest MMA pay-per-view event.

However, ‘The Notorious’ was the highest-paid UFC fighter and created history by becoming a double division champion. Unfortunately, he suffered a brutal leg injury in UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier in the first round, fracturing his left fibula and tibia.

Mcgregor had been out of the fight game for a long time, and he announced his return with a spectacular transformation and training videos.
