A squad jersey from New York Rangers bearing the Irishman’s name and number 12 was presented to him by the team. The MMA fighter had the chance to visit the Rangers’ locker room after the contest, which they won 5:3. In his remarks, McGregor praised the hockey players for their performance in the previous match. We didn’t need any conflicts that nearly broke out on the ice today. Returning to New York and being at Madison Square Garden is always fantastic. Happy tonight to the @nyrangers! McGregor posted on Instagram on Wednesday. After their victory over the Caps on Tuesday, the Rangers raised their record to 38-19-10 and held onto third place in the Metropolitan Division.

TUF 31: Team McGregor vs Team Chandler

Conor McGregor, a former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, and Michael Chandler, the No. 5 ranked lightweight contender, will compete against each other as coaches in the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter, which may be the largest in the program’s history. Following the series, which exclusively premieres on ESPN on Tuesday, May 30, the two coaches will be ready to face off at a later time.

The dynamic cast of The Ultimate Fighter Season 31: Team McGregor vs. Team Chandler will include returning pros and up-and-coming fighters in the men’s bantamweight (135 lbs.) and lightweight (155 lbs.) divisions who have sacrificed all else to achieve their UFC aspirations.

One episode of TUF 31 will air every Tuesday starting May 30 at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT for its 12-episode season, which will only be available on ESPN. After their network premieres at 11 pm ET, episodes will be available to stream on ESPN+ as needed. Also, all 30 past seasons of TUF are available for rewatch on ESPN+ for UFC fans.
