Passengers will be transported by a carrier aircraft named VMS Eve and a six-passenger, two-pilot SpaceShipTwo spacecraft called VSS Unity to an astounding height of 300,000 feet, or more than 55 miles, above the surface of the Earth.
After launch, Eve will lift people into the air before it plummets to the ground at 50,000 feet. Then, Unity will launch itself into sub-orbit using its own rockets at a speed of three times the speed of sound.
Once in orbit, visitors are free to disembark, enjoy several minutes of weightlessness, and gaze out one of the spacecraft’s 17 windows at breathtaking views of Earth.

After that, the spaceship will return to the Earth and make a powered runway touchdown. The news seems to have taken Conor’s interest too as he posts it in his story, but after what happened with the private Titanic submarine accident, it would be normal to say, people would be a bit sceptical of participating in such activities for quite a while now.
These flights will take off from Virgin Galactic’s commercial hub, Spaceport America in New Mexico.
With an initial deposit of $150,000 and a final deposit of $300,000, the once-in-a-lifetime trip has a staggering price tag of $450,000.
