Conor McGregor Vs Michael Chandler UFC PPV Likely to happen after December 2023
The highly anticipated matchup between McGregor and Chandler is reportedly not happening anytime soon. According to recent reports from The Daily Mirror, the fight is unlikely to take place until December 2023. The UFC President, Dana White, confirmed that the McGregor vs Chandler fight is in the works, but will take time. Given the fact, McGregor needs to complete his paperwork to be accepted into the USADA pool. And he is hopeful that this big fight will happen in December.
The delay is due to McGregor not having entered the USADA drug testing pool yet, which requires fighters to be tested for at least six months before competing. McGregor has been critical of USADA’s drug testing policies in the past but will have to comply to be eligible to fight Chandler.
If the reports are true, MMA fans will have to wait till December to witness what promises to be an exciting matchup between McGregor, one of the sport’s biggest stars, and Chandler, a former Bellator MMA champion. The long delay will undoubtedly frustrate many fans. But as per reports, Las Vegas remains the potential host city for the matchup, continuing its status as the fight capital of the world.
