Since 2016, Brock Lesnar hasn’t competed in MMA, and UFC President Dana White doesn’t see the WWE icon returning to the octagon. Some have questioned whether White will attempt to persuade Lesnar to come out of MMA retirement by scheduling him to compete against Jon Jones, the recently crowned UFC Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar has long been considered a box office draw. Does Lesnar intend to return to the UFC now that he’s supposedly finished with WWE?

Dana White on Brock Lesnar UFC fight Update
Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated spoke with Dana White, who said he thought Lesnar had officially retired from MMA competition.
White remarked, “Brock and I get along fine and always have, but I don’t think Brock wants to fight anymore. “Brock has amassed a large fortune. He entered the UFC and took home the heavyweight crown. He has nothing else to demonstrate. He wouldn’t want to do it, in my opinion.”

As a result of Lesnar’s positive drug test, the outcome was reversed. With allegations of fraud, carelessness, and a conspiracy to conduct crimes relating to racketeering, Hunt filed lawsuits against Lesnar, the UFC, and Dana White. Most of Hunt’s claims were rejected in 2019. However, the United States Court of Appeals overturned a portion of that rejection in 2021.
