Dana White on Brock Lesnar UFC fight Update

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated spoke with Dana White, who said he thought Lesnar had officially retired from MMA competition.

White remarked, “Brock and I get along fine and always have, but I don’t think Brock wants to fight anymore. “Brock has amassed a large fortune. He entered the UFC and took home the heavyweight crown. He has nothing else to demonstrate. He wouldn’t want to do it, in my opinion.”

Lesnar had a 5-3 record in professional MMA fights, with one “no contest.” In eight of his nine fights, the UFC was the promoter. By TKOing Randy Couture in the second round of their bout in late 2008, he won the UFC Heavyweight Title. In his final UFC match of 2016, Lesnar first defeated Mark Hunt by a unanimous decision.

As a result of Lesnar’s positive drug test, the outcome was reversed. With allegations of fraud, carelessness, and a conspiracy to conduct crimes relating to racketeering, Hunt filed lawsuits against Lesnar, the UFC, and Dana White. Most of Hunt’s claims were rejected in 2019. However, the United States Court of Appeals overturned a portion of that rejection in 2021.
