After losing to Tyson Fury in April, Dillian Whyte comes back tonight at London’s O2 Arena to contend for a world championship for the very first time in his career as he is set to fight against Jermaine Franklin for the unclaimed WBO super-middleweight title.
Whyte and Franklin, two super middleweight contenders, will square off in a 12-round contest. The contest is also one to keep an eye on since the victor will be eligible for the super fight in 2023.
It’s interesting to notice that Match Room Boxing posted a story on Instagram with a poll asking which of the two boxers is the favorite to win. Whyte received more than 85% of the vote, which indicates that the results were overwhelmingly in his favor. Indeed, it will be intriguing to see who wins the high-stakes battle. Meanwhile, there will be a phenomenal undercard before this bout.

In the undercard, fans can see the matches which are also exciting as Fabio Wardley and Nathan Gorman will compete for the British Heavyweight Championship. Additionally, Sandy Ryan will take on Anahi Ester Sanchez where Ryan will be defending her WBC International Super-lightweight Title. Meanwhile, Pat McCormack will compete against Christian Nicolas Andino for welterweight.
