Bobby Green and Arman Tsarukyan may have set up a plot for a future bout just three days before UFC Austin.
When Green shared a video of an alleged attack in the hotel lobby on his tale, it ignited a feud between him and other lightweight on Instagram.
Not too long later, Green uploaded a follow-up video, saying that during the battle, he ‘socked one of [Tsarykyan’s] homies’.
Bobby Green Finds A Perfect Storyline For His Upcoming UFC Fight
Bobby Green seems to have moved up the deadline for choosing a fight by a few days.
Green stated on social media that he and a member of Arman Tsarukyan’s crew got into a violent brawl on Wednesday.
Green fights Jalin Turner in the UFC on ESPN 52 on Saturday at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The main card airs on ESPN following the preliminary round on ESPN+. In the least important main event, Tsarukyan will take on Beneil Dariush.
Bobby Green asserted in a string of lewd remarks that Arman Tsarukyan, the main event star, initiated the altercation and he was only “finishing it.”
In addition, Green said that he had no idea who he had hit and would urge the audience to name the individual. The hotel incident’s complete circumstances have not yet been made public.
Although Tsarukyan has not publicly discussed the attack, it is expected that both lightweights will be asked to share their opinions at media day. Both competitors are still scheduled to participate at UFC Austin as of Nov. 29.
Bobby Green is hoping to maintain his momentum in a co-main event bout against Jalin Turner after shockingly knocking out Grant Dawson in the main event.
At UFC Austin, Green was originally slated to face Dan Hooker; however, the Australian withdrew from the bout just a few weeks before Turner agreed to step in as a last-minute substitute. Even though ‘The Tarantula’ replaced Green with only a week’s notice, he is a strong favorite to win.
