Barbie clashed with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer starring Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. in Leas roles. Despite so, Margot Robbie’s film managed to nag a whopping $155 million on its opening day.

As of now, IMDB has given a 7.6 rating to Barbie and movie maniacs appear to have preferred the film all over the world. That said, former UFC fighter Jake Shields doesn’t appear to be a fan of the film.

Jake Shields is known for throwing controversial statements on social media that may sit well with several people. His recent take on Margot Robbie-starrer Barbie can also disappoint a lot of fans.

Music producer CCG Bryson gave his honest opinion on Barbie, which urged Shields to give his own take.

Bryson wrote, “The Barbie movie did so well opening day! They should thank the conservatives pundits! Great job guys! Y’all helped Hollywood know that they should release more g*y movies like Barbie!.”

In response, ex-UFC Fighter Jake Shields wrote, “I don’t understand why grown adults are seeing this movie.”

The controversial tweet grabbed more reaction as Netizens poured their thoughts on the movie. Here’s a look at a few of them.

With mixed reactions coming from the audience, Barbie continues to dominate the Box Office. It is also reported that the film had a bigger opening day than Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Hence Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling have all the reasons to cherish their latest project.

Although Shields doesn’t seem to be a fan of the movie, he clearly has no hatred towards the lead actor Margot Robbie. On the contrary, he once went against the critics of the Hollywood actor.

A few weeks back, several netizens jointly denounced Margot Robbie’s physical appearance. However, Shields backed the actor amongst all.

He took to social media and wrote, “Why are people on Twitter arguing over if this girl is hot or not? I bet 90% of the dorks saying she is not hot has never slept with a girl as hot as her.”

While Shields has now publicly criticized Barbie, no member of the film community has given any importance to the former UFC star’s reaction.
