Alexander Volkanovski vs Max Holloway: Alexander Volkanovski vs Max Holloway would go down in history as one of the most entertaining rivalry and trilogy fight.
However Alexander Volkanovski won this by 3-0 and left no room for doubt. Max showed class in this rivalry and was a masterclass level fighter.
If this fight doesn’t go as the best Trilogy in the history, it is definitely one of the best and definitely one of the most technical rich rivalry in UFC.
Another amazing fact, this fight is that Alex broke his arm in round two and still went on to put on show in the remaining three rounds.
Broke my thumb in the second round, but that don’t stop us!

Hand injury forces Alexander Volkanovski OUT OF ACTION for 12 WEEKS: Alex has made it clear earlier too after his TKZ fight that if the division is not ready, he is all set to move up.
Following the five round war with Max, Alex addressed Oliveira sitting octagon side to get a fight and get that vacant belt quick cause he can’t wait to get that Double Champ Status.
However Alex announced that he would be out of action for almost 12 Weeks and would be undergoing surgery today as he broke his thumb during the second round of the trilogy bout.
He tweeted “Broke my thumb in the second round, but that don’t stop us! Having surgery today and will be out for 12 weeks. Looking forward to getting back out there, thanks to everyone for the support.”
Although, there is a high chance that by the time he is ready to make a comeback, The Lightweight Throne would have crowned its New Champion and Alex would have a clearer picture of his future opponent.
