The BMF belt rematch between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje will be the main event of UFC 291 on July 29. Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley will fight for the UFC 292 bantamweight championship, UFC President Dana White announced in a statement to confirm the news.

At the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje will square off over five rounds.

A reason also, behind the creation of the belt was the fighters popularity, as the professional fighters were all set to face one another, it ws believed that the five round main event should have a belt. UFC are typically title fights, a title belt should have been on the line.
