Vera (22-7-1) enters this fight after having a fantastic 2022. He won main-event matches against Rob Font and Dominick Cruz in 2022. Whereas Sandhagen (15-4) comes into this fight off a remarkable TKO victory over Yadong Song at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas in September. The American was able to snap a two-fight losing streak to TJ Dillashaw and Petr Yan thanks to this knockout.

Yet, Cory Sandhagen wasn’t impressed by his well-trained opponent before the battle since he thought his fighting style was unpredictable. According to Sandhagen, Vera’s winning streak isn’t particularly impressive, and his technique is unpredictable and unstable.

Sincerely, Sandhagen answered, “Not really. “In my opinion, the manner he has been winning is not a trustworthy strategy. It doesn’t include a lot of erratic victories when I consider some of the world’s finest fighters or what I envision myself striving to become, which is the best fighter in the world. It entails strategically defeating them at every opportunity and using only tried-and-true strategies to triumph.
