Francis Ngannou looks back at his UFC win over Gane
On Twitter, Francis Ngannou posted a photo from his last fight with Ciryl Gane and the message, “On This Day. #ANDSTILL.” Ngannou and Gane squared off at UFC 270 to unify the heavyweight championship one year ago today. The Honda Center in Anaheim, California, hosted the event.

Ngannou defeated “Bon Gamin” by unanimous judgment. He secured takedowns and had the interim heavyweight champion under control on the ground to recover from losing the first and second rounds.
With his first title defense, Ngannou’s winning run reached six games. He had knee surgery after the match, which prevented him from playing for the rest of the year.
