UFC News round up: Joe Rogan on Liver Kings’ PED revelation
To maintain his body, Joe Rogan anticipated that the Liver King would use PEDs (Performance-Enhancing Drugs), specifically steroids. Brian Johnson, popularly known online as Liver King, became well-known for advocating an “ancestral” lifestyle that included consuming raw flesh rather than cooked meat and posting films about it on various social media sites.
The UFC fan and commentator Joe Rogan revealed Johnson’s use of performance-enhancing drugs in a Joe Rogan Experience episode: “I wasn’t surprised at all. I can’t stand the Liver King thing; that guy’s on steroids. Just shut the f**k up. There’s no way you can look like that in your 40s. I can confidently say that he has a very nutrient-dense diet because it is obvious that he consumes all of these animal products and organic meat.”

UFC News round up: Israel Adesanya reacts to Thompson vs Holland
In a video uploaded to his FREESTYLEBENDER YouTube channel, Israel Adesanya revealed his delight at witnessing Thompson and Holland’s back-and-forth exchanges. Trailblazer’s corner withdrew before the start of the last round, allowing Thompson to win the fight via fourth-round TKO in the UFC Fight Night main event.
“My God! A crackhead cannot be dropped (Kevin Holland). A crackhead is impossible to drop. How can you get a crackhead off? Okay, whatever, his [Holland’s] hand — Oh!”
“Well done. Well done to Holland’s corner. Let him continue to battle for the greater good. What — what is his arm? He is merely standing there and accepting punishment. Therefore he would have repeated his actions. To both warriors: respect. I’m now only viewing the highlights. F**k. Man, that’s sick. Thompson, my man, was twirling like a ballerina. Beautiful. Thank you, “Wonderboy.” Kevin, get up.”
UFC News round up: Conor McGregor grabs call-out from another UFC star
Rafael dos Anjos, a former lightweight UFC champion, recently challenged Conor McGregor to a fight. After suffering a terrible leg injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, the Irishman has been sidelined.
Rafael dos Anjos declared his strong desire to face McGregor in the post-fight UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs. Holland interview. The Brazilian also said that the potential fight would be a suitable time to take place in July, saying:
“Check out my résumé. I battled everyone. I need to track down someone who will agree that I deserve to fight. I want to have that fight, and I won’t ask UFC for an outrageous extra payday. July is ideal for me. We’ll wait and see.”
