Although Indian fighters have appeared and fought in the promotion, the country is still to earn a big achievement in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Here’s how one can apply to fight in the UFC.

According to reports, a professional fighter applying for the UFC- Ultimate fighter series must have three professional bouts under his/her name. The resumes will then be verified through sherdog.com or mixedmartialarts.com before the UFC brings the fighters on board.

While there are several other MMA leagues like Bellator, One Championship PFL, or RIZN, UFC is still the kingpin in the domain. An average UFC fighter, who performs twice a year, earns around $25,000 reportedly.

This is clearly a positive start to the uproar of Indian MMA and it can’t be bigger if an Indian fighter becomes a UFC world champion somewhere down the line.
